| The bait car program targeting Lower Mainland car thieves is producing significant reductions in auto theft, BC Solicitor General Rich Coleman said today. In the first nine months of the program, police statistics show there was a 15 per cent decrease in auto theft across the Lower Mainland. Surrey, which had once been branded the car theft capital of North America, saw a 20 per cent drop. | |||
